REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

Feasibility Study and Design for the Rehabilitation of the Linden Soesdyke Highway, Guyana

 

The RFP for this project which was first published on Sunday 5th August, 2018 has been withdrawn.

The Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana (GoG), through the Works Services Group of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure (MoPI), invites Proposals from local and foreign parties interested in the provision of Consultancy services for the Feasibility Study and Design for the Rehabilitation of the Linden Soesdyke Highway.

The overall objective of this consultancy is for the Consultant to produce a Feasibility Report, engineering designs and corresponding bidding documents for road works on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.  The design must provide a solution to, the current deterioration of the road pavement and road safety issues throughout the roadway. The design and bidding documents must satisfy all legal, statutory, technical, economic, social and environmental requirements stated in this Request for Proposals.

Funding for this project is being provided by the Government of Guyana, and the Consultants will be selected in accordance with the policies and procedures set out by the National Procurement Act (2003). The Standard Request for Proposal document can be found on the Ministry’s website (www. mopi.gov.gy) under the Procurement Tab. 

Interested consultants may obtain further information through writing to the Address 1 or email below during office hours: Monday to Thursday, between 09:00 and 16:00 hrs and Friday, between 09:00 and 15:00 hrs, from 5th September, 2018. Any clarification of the RFP will be communicated in writing at the latest 7 calendar days before the deadline for submitting tenders.

Tenderers are required to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals which must be delivered to the Tender Box at Address 2, no later than 09:00 hrs on Tuesday 25th September, 2018.
